Efficient offering, delivery and procurement: e_procure & supply 2009
 Under the motto of “Fit for Purchasing”, the ninth e_procure & supply from 6-7 May 2009 offers a platform for exchanging information about the latest procurement solutions. The themes of the exhibition range from process optimization to supplier management. This year’s accompanying congress, which is again organized by the German Association Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (AMMPL/BME), the honorary sponsor, focuses on questions of optimum implementation of procurement strategies. The “go SME” initiative once again offers products and services to suit the special needs of small and medium enterprises. Small and medium enterprises are also a core theme of this year’s exhibition and congress. The potential savings in process costs are nowhere near exhausted, especially for SMEs – only a good half (54 per cent) of all small and medium companies use electronic catalogue systems at all at the moment. The organizers of e_procure & supply have recognized that there is ground to make up here and offer tailor-made, guided tours of the exhibition that take SMEs straight to the most important stands for them.
